Sifuna unveils new party ahead of 2027 presidential race

JEFF: After months of uncertainty marked by numerous hurdles, Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has finally secured a political vehicle to contest the 2027 presidential election. OLIVE: The new party, The Equitable Party, was unveiled at a colourful ceremony attended by members of the Linda Mwananchi Movement in Nairobi. The former ODM secretary-general was also officially installed as the TEP party leader by the outgoing officials, amid calls for the United Opposition to back the Nairobi senator's presidential bid.
