Samburu professionals demand halt to security operation

Still in Samburu, professionals and student leaders based in the capital have called for an immediate halt to the security operation in Samburu East, which they say has left the community counting losses running into millions of shillings following the shooting of livestock in the area. The professionals criticised the national government over the manner in which the operation is being conducted and are demanding accountability and compensation for those who have lost their livelihoods.
