Muhammad Jawel went from a children's home and the streets to his first gun at 15, bush training with the OLF in Ethiopia ("out there, the weapon is you"), an AK-47 on a bus to Nairobi, and the big bank jobs of the 90s: Habib Bank, Bank of Baroda and the "196 million" job. Tortured four times, he never talked, and served 12½ years. Matayo grew up in Korogocho wanting to be a doctor, and ended up as the "doctor" the boys came to with bullet wounds.
