Ruto accuses Sifuna of extortion over Dangote refinery agreement

President William Ruto today tore into Linda Mwananchi Movement leader and Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, labelling him an extortionist, saying he is being used by the former President Uhuru Kenyatta to demand for the agreement between Kenya and Nigerian businessman Aliko Dangote on the construction of the Dangote East Africa Refinery in Lamu County. President Ruto who toured Taita Taveta and Mombasa Counties today, said he would not let anyone undermine the project, saying the Dangote Cement project was stopped by demands for kickbacks.
