Ndindi Nyoro raises concerns over 2027 voter register
Description (show more)
People’s Party leader and Kiharu lawmaker Ndindi Nyoro has warned the IEBC against compromising the 2027 General Election by allowing non-Kenyans to take part in the polls. Speaking at the party’s headquarters in Nairobi, Nyoro alleged that Ugandan citizens are irregularly acquiring Kenyan national identity cards and registering as voters along the Kenya-Uganda border. He said the allegations raise questions about the integrity of the IEBC voter register. The Kiharu MP says the opposition will demand a thorough audit of the voter register ahead of the next General Election.
