Nairobi county says it has identified 16 flood hotspots

Nairobi County is preparing for a worst-case scenario in which up to 100,000 people, or about 20,000 households, could be affected by the anticipated El Niño rains. The county says it has identified 16 flood hotspots and put measures in place to protect those most at risk. The Nairobi Rivers Commission further says it is 80% prepared.
