Duties
- Supervising students on practical lessons.
- Conducting lab experimentation, data analytics and simulation.
- Participating in research and publication.
- Participating in outreach activities to disseminate knowledge and technologies.
- Developing proposals to source funding and solve societal challenges.
- Making available research findings for publication in academic journals.
- Mentoring students on project activities and life skills.
- Participating in the administration of assessments and examinations.

Required Qualifications and Competencies
For appointment to this grade, one MUST have:
Must Have
- Have at least an Upper Second-Class Honors Bachelor’s degree, from a University recognized in Kenya
- Be expected to register for a relevant Master’s degree and
- Be registered or registerable with the relevant professional body (where applicable).
- Have proficiency in ICT.
