Job Requirements: Academic and Professional Qualifications:
For appointment to this grade, the applicant must have: –
- Computer Science, Computer Technology, Informatics, Computer Science & Technology, Information Systems, Business Information Technology (BBIT), Computing Science and Technology, Computer Security and Forensics or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
- Possess at least two (2) Professional certifications in service management for example, ITIL or equivalent.
- Be a member of a recognized professional body
- Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.
- A course in senior management or its equivalent from a recognized institution.

Experience:
- Served for a minimum of three (3) years at the grade of ICT Officer I (Data Centre (DC) Engineer, System Administrator, Network Engineer), JSG 5 or in a comparable position.
- Experience in the IT / IS infrastructure, operating systems, configurations
- and the IT applications and service processes.
- Proficient in understanding infrastructure architecture, the frameworks
- and principles on which networks, systems, equipment and resources are
- based, both on premises and cloud-based; and
- Proficient in understanding the principles and application of cloud/ virtualization (including ownership, responsibilities and security implications) and the use of tools and systems to manage virtualized environments. Examples, but not limited to: Server/desktop virtualization and SDDC (Software Defined Data Centre).
