Work Location: Awasi, Kisumu
Ceabud Engineering Services Ltd is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Welder to join our quarry operations at our Awasi site.
Key Requirements
- Must have proven experience working as a Welder, preferably in a quarry, construction, or heavy-equipment environment.
- Must be able to operate and work confidently with MIG welding machines.
- Ability to carry out fabrication, repair, and maintenance of quarry equipment and structures.
- Strong practical problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box when designing and fabricating solutions.
- Ability to read and understand basic fabrication drawings and measurements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a workshop/maintenance team.
- Good understanding of welding safety procedures and safe working practices.
- Experience with heavy-duty steel fabrication will be an added advantage.
- Welding and fabrication of quarry equipment, structures, guards, chutes, frames, and other steel components.
- Repair and modification of machinery and equipment as required.
- Design and fabricate practical solutions to mechanical and operational challenges.
- Carry out welding repairs promptly to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
