Business Ireland Kenya (BIK) has rebranded as the Irish Chamber of Commerce Kenya, introducing a new name, a fresh logo, and a clear, long-term purpose of connecting the Irish and Kenyan business markets.

The new logo features a shamrock, which is one of Ireland’s most recognisable symbols, designed with distinct roots and three leaves. The roots represent connection, symbolizing the foundational link between businesses in Kenya and Ireland that underpins everything the Chamber does.

New visual identity pairs Shamrock Green as the primary colour with Kenyan Earth, a rich brown, and will significantly bring Kenya directly into the logo and the conversation.

“For nearly thirteen years we have connected Irish and Kenyan business, and this identity says plainly what we do. We help members understand what is happening on the other side, meet the right people, and turn existing opportunities into trade and investment,” says Ms. Katherine Muldoon, Chairperson of the Irish Chamber of Commerce Kenya.

BIK was established with the support of the Embassy of Ireland and launched in December 2013. It has since grown into a vibrant network of Irish, Kenyan, and international professionals and organisations, offering networking events, knowledge-sharing forums, and access to industry insights.

While BIK built the relationships, the Irish Chamber of Commerce Kenya is building the platform for the next generation of Ireland–Kenya business opportunities. Under its “collaborate, capitalize” mantra, the Chamber will continue bringing businesses together to share knowledge, forge partnerships, and turn potential into tangible trade and investment.

The rebrand was marked at a reception hosted by the Ambassador of Ireland, Caitríona Ingoldsby, and the Chairperson, Ms. Katherine Muldoon, at the Irish Residence in Nairobi on Thursday 29 October 2026, celebrating trade connections and business partnerships between Ireland and Kenya.

A refreshed website, irishchamber.co.ke, reflects the Chamber’s growth and its ambitions for the Ireland–Kenya relationship. The Chamber continues to welcome Irish, Kenyan and international businesses and professionals with an interest in the two markets, as well as

organisations that would like to support its work as partners or sponsors. Membership and partnership information is available on the website.
