CFAO Mobility Kenya has taken over the management of agricultural machinery brand Case IH in Kenya as the company expands its operations beyond vehicle distribution into the agriculture sector.

CFAO Mobility Kenya, which distributes Toyota vehicles in the country, will oversee Case IH operations, including machinery sales, technical support, spare parts and aftersales services.

The company said the transition will not affect existing Case IH customers, with current orders, business relationships and points of contact remaining in place.

Case IH has operated in Kenya under the CFAO Group since 2014, building a customer base among farmers, agribusinesses and agricultural contractors.

The brand supplies tractors, farm implements and precision farming equipment, supported by technical and aftersales services.

CFAO Mobility Kenya Managing Director Arvinder Reel said bringing Case IH into the company’s operations would allow it to extend its existing mobility and aftersales capabilities to the agricultural sector.

“Case IH is a natural extension of our business and our commitment to providing solutions that help our customers perform better,” Reel said.

He said the company would prioritise the availability of spare parts, technical expertise and aftersales support for farmers and other agricultural machinery users.

The transition will bring Case IH into CFAO Mobility Kenya’s nationwide network and existing aftersales infrastructure, which the company said would improve access to spare parts and technical support.

CFAO Group Kenya Chairman and Country Delegate Dennis Awori said the move comes at a time when agriculture remains an important part of Kenya’s economy, supporting employment, food production and business activity.

“Agriculture is a critical sector for the country’s growth, employment and food security, and bringing Case IH under CFAO Mobility strengthens our ability to support farmers, agribusinesses and the wider agricultural value chain,” Awori said.

CFAO said the Case IH team would continue serving customers throughout the transition, retaining the technical expertise and relationships developed over more than a decade.

The company plans to use its wider network to strengthen Case IH’s presence in Kenya while improving access to machinery support across the country.

The expansion will also enable CFAO Mobility Kenya to provide support throughout the working life of Case IH agricultural machinery, from sales and technical assistance to spare parts and aftersales services.

The company said the move forms part of its broader strategy to expand its business beyond vehicles and provide solutions to customers in other key sectors of the Kenyan economy.
