Samsung is expanding access to Care+, a service plan designed to help Galaxy smartphone owners manage the cost of accidental damage through the company’s authorized service network at subsidized repair rates.

Care+ operates separately from Samsung’s standard 24-month warranty. While the standard two-year warranty covers manufacturer defects at no extra charge, Care+ addresses everyday physical accidents, most notably cracked screens.

Valid for 12 months from device activation, Care+ allows for one qualifying screen repair using genuine Samsung parts and certified technicians. To qualify, customers must register their eligible device within 30 days of purchase. The service applies exclusively to official devices sold with a 24-month warranty and does not cover grey-import models or unreleased local regional variants.

By utilizing Care+, users save significantly compared to open-market repairs. For context, an out-of-warranty screen replacement on an A- or S-series phone in Kenya can typically cost between Ksh. 15,000 and Ksh. 30,000+. Under Care+, costs are reduced to fixed subsidized tiers:

How to Register

Eligible Galaxy owners can register within 30 days of purchasing their device using one of two methods:

  • Online: Visit samsungcareplus.com and enter the device IMEI or serial number.
  • On-Device: On supported models running One UI 9 (such as the Galaxy S26 FE, A08, A18, Fold8, and Flip8 series), navigate to Settings > Warranty & Care.

For repairs or additional support, customers can visit any authorized Samsung service center. In Kenya, assistance is available via the customer care hotline at 0800 545 545.
