NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 3 – Co-operative Bank of Kenya has committed Sh7 million to support the Kenya Comprehensive Schools Heads Association (KECSHA) 2026 Annual General Meeting and conference scheduled for November 9–12 in Mombasa.
The sponsorship is expected to support the four-day gathering, which organizers anticipate will attract more than 15,000 delegates from comprehensive schools across the country.
Co-op Bank Director of Retail and Business Banking Samuel Birech presented the sponsorship cheque to KECSHA National Chairman Faud Ali Abdala.
The conference will bring together school heads from across Kenya at a time when the education sector continues to navigate changes in curriculum implementation, school administration and resource management.
The sponsorship forms part of the bank’s engagement with the education sector, although details of the specific activities to be funded through the contribution were not provided.
