The fellowship is seeking hospital bill waivers, specialised treatment for critically injured victims and funeral assistance for families affected by the crash.
The Mombasa Pastors Fellowship has appealed for urgent government intervention to cover medical bills and funeral expenses following a road accident involving clergy and other church members along the Mombasa–Nairobi Highway on Sunday.
The fellowship is seeking financial assistance for affected families, the evacuation of critically injured victims to hospitals offering specialised treatment and a waiver of hospital bills arising from the crash.
In a statement, the fellowship said the vehicle was carrying pastors, relatives and friends who were returning to Mombasa after attending the burial of their colleague, the late Rev Kiganane.
