The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) has released an updated list of approved aviation training organizations offering pilot training and other aviation-related courses in Kenya.

According to a notice dated June 9, some of the approved institutions are located at major aviation hubs such as Wilson Airport, Malindi Airport, Nanyuki Airport, and the KQ Pride Centre in Embakasi.

Among the approved institutions are the East African School of Aviation, Kenya School of Flying, Ninety Nines Flying School, Proactive Air Services, Aerolink Flight Centre, Flitestar Academy, and Mt Kenya Flight School.

According to a notice published on June 9, several organizations are licensed to offer pilot training programmes in 2026, including:

  • Private Pilot License (PPL)
  • Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
  • Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
  • Instrument Rating (IR)
  • Multi-Engine Instrument Rating
  • Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License (AMEL)
  • Flight Operations and Dispatch (FOD)
  • Flight Instructor Rating (FIR)
