The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has reopened its application portal for the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) September 2026 intake, inviting eligible applicants to submit their applications.
KMTC said applications for all pre-service programmes are now open on the KUCCPS Student Portal.
“September 2026 intake applications are now open. Pre-service programmes are now open for application through the KUCCPS Student Portal,” KMTC said.
The application window will close on August 11, 2026, after which no new applications will be accepted.
Here are the available courses that students can take:
KMTC Certificate Courses Available in the KUCCPS Portal
According to the KUCCPS Student Portal, KMTC is offering a range of certificate programmes for the September 2026 intake.
The courses are available under the Health Sciences and Related cluster.
They include Certificate in Community Health Assistant, Certificate in Emergency Medical Technician, Certificate in Health Insurance Management, Certificate in Health Records and Information Technology, Certificate in Kenya Enrolled Community Health Nursing, Certificate in Medical Engineering, Certificate in Mortuary Science, Certificate in Nutrition and Dietetics, Certificate in Orthopedic Trauma Medicine, and Certificate in Public Health.
Diploma Courses
KMTC is also offering additional diploma programmes under the Health Sciences and Related cluster for the intake.
These include Diploma in Occupational Therapy, Diploma in Optometry, Diploma in Orthopedic Technology, Diploma in Orthopedic and Trauma Medicine, Diploma in Pharmacy, Diploma in Physiotherapy, Diploma in Public Health, Diploma in Radiography and Imaging, and Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy.
