The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has reopened applications for selected Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) courses ahead of the September 2026 intake.

The reopening follows the initial application window for the September intake, which closed on August 11, 2026.

KUCCPS opened the application process on July 24, giving applicants 21 days to submit applications for KMTC diploma and certificate programs.

Initially, the placement service announced 34 KMTC programs for the September 2026 intake, comprising 24 diploma and 10 certificate programs.

The list included major health training courses such as Clinical Medicine and Surgery, Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing, and Pharmacy.

Applicants who missed the earlier deadline can now check the programs currently showing vacancies on the KUCCPS portal and apply for courses for which they meet the minimum requirements.

“KUCCPS has reopened applications for selected KMTC courses with available vacancies for the September 2026 intake. If you missed the earlier application window, this is another opportunity to begin your journey towards a career in healthcare. Applications for Higher Diploma Courses are open on the KMTC application portal https://admissions.kmtc.ac.ke/login,” KMTC notice stated.
