Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba warned that claims of advance access to examination papers are fraudulent and aimed at exploiting unsuspecting members of the public.

Parents and learners have been cautioned against paying for leaked examination papers as the 2026 national assessments begin.

Speaking on Monday during the distribution of the first examination papers in Makueni, Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba warned that claims of advance access to examination papers are fraudulent and aimed at exploiting unsuspecting members of the public.

He said the government had put measures in place to prevent examination papers from leaking before candidates sit their tests, urging anyone with information about individuals selling fake papers to report them to the relevant authorities.
