TSC Extends Teachers’ Mandatory Pension Portal Registration Deadline

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has extended the registration period for the Public Service Superannuation Fund (PSSF) Member Self-Service Portal for teachers.

In an internal memo dated July 28, 2026, TSC announced that the registration deadline has been extended to August 31, 2026, to allow teachers who have not completed the registration and onboarding process more time to comply.

“The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) Headquarters has issued an Internal Memo Ref. No. TSC/DHRM&D/CS/2/VOL.XI dated 27th July 2026 extending the registration deadline for the Public Service Superannuation Fund (PSSF) Member Self-Service Portal to 31st August 2026,” the memo read in part.

TSC has directed all teachers who are yet to register to take advantage of the extension and complete the process before the revised deadline.

Teachers are required to register on the PSSF Member Self-Service Portal, complete the required enrolment forms, upload a copy of their national identity card, and submit beneficiary details.

Heads of institutions have been instructed to communicate the directive to all teachers, monitor registration progress, and provide support to teachers experiencing registration challenges.

Teachers who have already completed the registration process have been advised to disregard the notice.

“All teachers who are yet to register are required to take advantage of this opportunity and ensure full compliance before the revised deadline,” TSC emphasized.

Mandatory Registration Requirements

TSC has reminded teachers who are yet to register to complete all the required steps on the PSSF Member Self-Service Portal before the deadline.

The process includes registering on the portal, completing the PSSF Member Enrolment Form (Form I), and uploading a clear PDF copy of both sides of the national identity card on a single page.

Teachers must also complete the PSSF Nomination of Beneficiaries Form (Form II) by providing accurate beneficiary details, including names, dates of birth, contact information, identification or birth certificate numbers, and the percentage allocation for each beneficiary.

The commission has advised teachers to ensure all information submitted is accurate and complete to facilitate access to PSSF member services.

TSC Directives to School Heads

In the issued memo, TSC has directed heads of institutions to immediately communicate the memo to all teachers under their jurisdiction and monitor the registration process to ensure every eligible teacher complies before the deadline.

School heads have also been instructed to support teachers experiencing registration challenges and, where necessary, to escalate unresolved cases through the Sub-County Directors’ offices.

Teachers who have already completed the registration process have been advised to disregard the notice. Those requiring technical assistance or clarification have been directed to use the official PSSF support channels.
