NAIROBI, Kenya, Sep 18 – Jubilee Health Insurance has been named Best Digital Insurance Provider at the Kenya E-Commerce Awards 2026.

The award comes as the insurer expands its use of digital platforms for customer onboarding, policy purchases, payments and access to healthcare services.

Jubilee Health Insurance CEO and Principal Officer Njeri Jomo said technology should make insurance easier for customers to access and use.

“Customers increasingly expect services to be simple, accessible and available when and where they need them. Our focus has been to use technology to remove unnecessary complexity from health insurance while ensuring customers still receive the support and assurance they need,” Jomo said.

Jubilee Health Insurance Head of Marketing and Communications Monica Chege said the company’s digital services are focused on making health insurance easier to access.

“Digital innovation must ultimately make things easier for the customer. Our focus is not simply on digitising insurance, but on making health cover easier to understand, access and pay for,” Chege said.
