Moringa School is a Nairobi-based tech training academy offering programs in software engineering, data science, product design, cybersecurity, cloud, and data analytics.

The institution focuses on hands-on technology training and employability, with courses designed to equip learners with practical digital skills.

Moringa School was founded in 2014 by Audrey Patricia Cheng and Kenyan entrepreneur Frank Collins Tamre, who initially held equal 50 percent ownership stakes.

In 2016, Cheng acquired Tamre’s 50 percent stake in an amicable buyout, making her the school’s sole owner.

Cheng stepped down as CEO in March 2021 but continued serving on the school’s board and remained involved in its strategic direction.

While Cheng remains the owner and a board member, a professional management team and board handle day-to-day operations. Available information lists Nikki Germany as the school’s CEO in recent years.
