Tanzanian music stars Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu have welcomed their first child together, marking a new chapter in their relationship after months of public attention surrounding their relatioship and pregnancy journey.
Diamond confirmed the arrival of the newborn through a touching message shared alongside a photo from the hospital.
The image showed the couple together, with Zuchu lying on a hospital bed with their baby. The child’s face was covered with an emoji as the couple appeared to protect the newborn’s privacy.
“Welcome to the world, our precious little angel. You are already loved more than words can ever say,” the message read.
For Zuchu, whose real name is Zuhura Othman Soud, has built a strong following through hit songs and collaborations, the new born baby is her first.
Diamond, whose real name is Naseeb Abdul Juma, is already a father to children from previous relationships.
Zuchu Announces Pregnancy with Stunning Photos
The couple announced the pregnancy on July 30, 2026, when Zuchu shared maternity photos in pink, revealing her baby bump and and photos of womb ultrasound.
The announcement attracted widespread attention across East Africa, with fans congratulating the couple together.
Diamond later confirmed the pregnancy on Instagram with the message “New heart beats in the family,” expressing excitement over the new addition to their family.
The announcement came weeks after Zuchu publicly stated that the couple had broken up.

During the event, Diamond gifted Zuchu TSh 78 million (Ksh 3,809,136.99), a gesture described as both a sign of affection and an apology.
