Betika reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing grassroots sporting talent following the successful conclusion of the eighth edition of the Jeff Kuria Football Tournament at Ruthigiti Stadium in Kikuyu, Kiambu County.
The tournament, which brought together 16 teams across the men’s and women’s categories, provided young footballers with a competitive platform to showcase their talent while strengthening community participation through sport. Barcelona FC emerged champions in the men’s category after defeating Wazee 1 – 0 in the final.
The winners received KSh100,000, while runners-up Wazee took home Sh50,000. In the women’s competition, VSRI secured the title following a 1 – 0 victory over Musiengen. VSRI received Sh100,000, with Musiengen taking home Sh50,000 as runners-up.
Betika supported the eighth edition as the tournament’s official sponsoring partner, continuing the brand’s investment in initiatives that create opportunities for young people at the grassroots level.
