The defending champions moved to nine points after another narrow victory, having opened their campaign with a 4-2 win over Murang'a SEAL on October 13 before edging APS Bomet 1-0 last weekend.

Gor Mahia made it three wins from three matches in the FKF Premier League on Saturday after beating Bandari 1-0 at Nyayo National Stadium, with Alpha Onyango scoring the decisive goal in the 67th minute.

Bandari frustrated Gor in the first half with a cautious defensive approach, keeping the hosts at bay despite several attempts to create openings. Ben Stanley delivered a dangerous cross from the right in the opening 15 minutes, but Bandari cleared the danger as the teams went into half-time goaless.
