Mombasa businessman Suleiman Shahbal has reaffirmed his financial commitment to Mombasa United, dismissing claims that he has withdrawn his support for the newly promoted FKF Premier League side amid reports of disagreements over sponsorship arrangements.

“I am sponsoring Mombasa United to the best of my abilities, and I will continue sponsoring Mombasa United,” Shahbal said, putting to rest speculation about his future involvement.
