NAIROBI, Kenya, November 2, 2026 – A technological revolution has officially arrived on the Kenyan women’s football landscape.
In a landmark milestone for domestic sports media and athlete development, Nairobi-based sports data company GameOn Collective has officially launched gameoncollective.com, a dedicated digital platform built exclusively for Kenyan women’s football, alongside its revolutionary GPS Lab.
For the first time in Kenyan history, elite female footballers are stepping onto the pitch wearing professional GPS performance vests during competitive FKF Women’s Premier League matches, bridging the gap between local talent and global data-driven scouting.
Since September 27, 2026, three trailblazing athletes from Mathare United Women FC, centre back Marline Atieno, right back Veronicah Nyambura, and forward Iddah Adhiambo, have been wearing Titan GPS vests during league fixtures.
The verified data published by GameOn Collective after every match tracks deep performance metrics including total distance covered, top speed, sprints, accelerations, decelerations, and overall player load.
The early results underline the explosive physical demands of the KWPL: 13.48 km covered in a single match (Veronicah Nyambura vs. Kibera Soccer Women, 27 September); 29.60 km/h top speed (Iddah Adhiambo vs. Kibera Soccer Women, 27 September); 5.9 m/s² peak acceleration (Veronicah Nyambura vs. Police Bullets, 24 October).
“Women footballers in Kenya train and compete just as hard as anyone, but almost nothing about their performance is recorded. We built GameOn Collective so that scouts, clubs, and sponsors can finally see what these athletes do on the pitch, in verified numbers,” Nginda Nganga, co-founder of GameOn Collective, said.
Beyond the GPS tracking pilot with Mathare United, gameoncollective.com serves as a comprehensive digital hub tracking 306 players and 38 clubs across both the FKF Women’s Premier League and the FKF Women National Super League.
Fans, scouts, and clubs can now access live league standings, player and club profiles, goals, assists, appearances, and head-to-head player comparisons.
Crucially, every GPS-tracked athlete participates through a signed agreement, retaining full control over their performance data while leveraging verified metrics to build evidence-backed profiles for international scouting, university scholarships, and commercial sponsorships.
Founded by technologists Nginda Nganga and Salesforce architect Emmanuel Kiprono, GameOn Collective is self-funded by its creators with ambitions to expand GPS tracking to more athletes, clubs, and divisions, including the National Super League, Division One, and regional tournaments.
As the platform seeks partners and sponsors to scale its data infrastructure and athlete branding efforts, the message is clear: the era of playing in the shadows is over.
With verified metrics now at their fingertips, Kenya’s women footballers are stepping into the light, proving their worth in cold, hard numbers.
