Residents in several urban areas participate in clean-up activities

Nairataat Comprehensive School pupils joined hands with Makueni market cleaners, the community and the Child Fund-Kenya in cleaning Emali township in Makueni County with an aim of removing plastic waste and creating a cleaner environment. This comes as residents of Moi's Bridge town also partnered with government and environmental organisations in a cleaning exercise to save the town from poor sanitation and growing concern over garbage collection.
