Kenya is turning to science and innovation to boost beef production and improve farmers’ returns. At the KALRO Beef Research Institute in Lanet, Nakuru County, researchers are working on better cattle breeds, affordable feeds and climate-resilient pastures to help bridge the country’s meat deficit.
