Thousands of first-years stranded over university funding

Education lobby group Elimu Bora Working Group claims that thousands of first-year students are currently stranded in universities without HELB funding, scholarships, or clarity on who will pay their tuition. The coalition is now calling on the government to release an interim funding stream for first-year university students who reported in September, as uncertainty deepens over their financing.
