Two people dead, 14 nursing burns after a fuel tanker involved in an accident explodes in Turbo

Two people have been confirmed dead in a petroleum tanker explosion following an accident that occurred on Thursday night next to Paul Boit Highschool in Turbo constituency Uasin Gishucounty,along the busy Eldoret Webuye highway. Its believed the two met their untimely death when they were trying to collect fuel from the oil tanker after the accident.Fourteen survivors with extensive burns are fighting for their life at the Moi teaching and referral hospital where they were admitted for specialised medication. Emergency responders and security urgencies had a rough time in evacuating those at risk. Uasin Gishu county police commander Sicharani Wilberforce has confirmed the incident.
