Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya refutes claims of inadequate pharmacists

The Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya has refuted claims that Kenya has an inadequate number of pharmacists, following the publication of the Good Pharmacy Practice Standards Guidelines, which place greater responsibility on pharmacists, including oversight at level 3 facilities. This comes as the Ministry of Health calls  for stronger domestic finance mobilisation, warning that global funding reductions threaten the availability of contraceptive commodities and essential family planning services in the country.
