Description (show more)
The widower of slain psychologist Dr Victoria Mutiso, Professor David Ndetei, has opposed the release on bond of seven suspects accused of her murder. In an affidavit filed at the High Court, Professor Ndetei says he fears for his safety and that of his family, arguing that the accused are known to him, his family, his workplace and places he frequents. Meanwhile, two suspects allegedly arrested in Uganda while on the run claim they were arrested in Kisumu, taken to Uganda and later deported back to Kenya. Gatete Njoroge reports.
