Ruto assures Lamu residents of fair land deal as Sh2 trillion Dangote refinery project begins
Description (show more)
President William Ruto has assured that the concerns raised by the Lamu residents over the more than 7,000-acre piece of land where the Dangote East Africa Refinery will be built, will be addressed fairly, adding that locals and Kenyans at large stand to win big from the over Sh2 trillion project. President Ruto, who led the ground-breaking ceremony for the project alongside multi-billionaire Aliko Dangote, said the project will be completed in 3 years, and would create more than 60,000 jobs locally. As Emmanuel Too now reports, President Ruto and Dangote said they would take anyone planning to undermine the project head-on.
