Machakos workers protest delayed salaries as Maasai Mau evictees seek compensation

Machakos County workers continue to pile pressure on the county government over delayed salaries and unremitted statutory deductions, staging demonstrations at the county headquarters and threatening further industrial action if their demands are not addressed. Elsewhere, Narok Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu has appealed for patience among Maasai Mau evictees over errors in compensation payments.
