KICD begins distribution of Grade 11 textbooks ahead of 2027 rollout

THE Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) has launched the official release and distribution framework for over 300 approved Grade 11 textbooks and OTHER LEARNING material ahead of the 2027 senior school rollout. The rollout that began today is targeting regular and Special Needs Education (SNE) learners, running through October 23 before pausing for national examinations The KICD has cautioned schools and parents against procuring or using any unapproved curriculum support materials.
