IG Douglas Kanja found in contempt of court over June Nairobi blockades

Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja has been found in contempt of court. The High Court found him guilty for ordering unannounced police roadblocks and a city blockade that restricted access to the Nairobi Central Business District during the commemoration of the Gen Z protests in June.
