NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 2 – Kingdom Bank has opened a new branch on Wabera Street in Nairobi’s Central Business District, expanding its network to 30 branches across the country.

The branch, located at the site of the former Trattoria Italian restaurant, will serve micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, traders, professional firms and retail customers operating in the city centre.

Kingdom Bank Managing Director and CEO Anthony Mburu said the opening coincides with the recent rollout of the bank’s new core banking system, which he said would improve service delivery.

“The successful rollout of our new Core Banking System has laid the foundation for a more agile and innovative Kingdom Bank. As we open our doors on Wabera Street, we are not only bringing banking services closer to our customers but also providing them with enhanced banking experience powered by the most modern banking technology,” Mburu said.

He said the system would support faster transactions, improved digital services and financial products tailored to customers’ needs.
