Communications Authority of Kenya Announces 2026 Student Attachment

The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) has announced a three-month industrial attachment program for ongoing university students.

In an advert on April 1, 2026, CA invited students to apply for a three-month industrial attachment in several fields.

“CA is opening doors for students to gain hands-on experience at the heart of ICT regulation, innovation, and digital transformation. From cybersecurity to spectrum management, this is where policy meets impact,” the statement read.

The program is designed to provide practical experience across multiple departments, including ICT, finance, legal, communications, and regulatory services.

The attachment is open to students in 17 departments, each with specific areas of study as follows:

Communications Authority Attachment Application Requirements

Communication Authority has also stipulated application requirements for students, which include:

Applicants must be current students in a recognized university

Areas of study should align with the department applied for

Applicants should demonstrate a keen interest in gaining practical experience in a dynamic

Applicants are also required to submit the following documents:

• A one-page CV
• A cover letter specifying the department of interest
• A letter from their institution confirming current enrollment and support for the attachment

All applications must be submitted online through the official application portal.

The deadline for applications is April 8, 2026, and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews.
