Isuzu East Africa, a leading transport solutions provider in the East African region, has announced internship opportunities for university graduates.

In an announcement on June 5, Isuzu East Africa said the initiative targets exceptional 2025 graduates from across the East African Community (EAC), offering them hands-on industry experience and exposure to real-world projects.

“We are building a strong talent pipeline to support our regional market by offering internship opportunities for exceptional 2025 graduates from across the East African Community (EAC),” part of the statement read.

“We invite you to apply for opportunities across our divisions that align with your academic background.”

The application deadline is June 19, 2026.

Internship Fields and Qualifications

The Company has encouraged interested candidates to apply for internship positions aligned with their specific educational qualifications.

Available positions include:

1. Product Planning, Engineering & Supply Chain

Applicants who seek to apply for the position must have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Procurement and Supply Chain Management.

2. Manufacturing Operations, Facilities & Maintenance

Candidates applying for the opportunity must have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.

3. Commercial Operations & Finance

Applicants interested in the position must have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Commerce (Finance, Accounting, Marketing), Logistics, or other related business fields.

4. IT & Digital Transformation

Interested candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5. HR & Corporate Sustainability

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in human resources, Law (LLB), Project Management, Journalism, or Communication.



Isuzu East Africa Lists Minimum Requirements for Internship Programme

Applicants must have graduated in 2025 and attained a minimum KCSE mean grade of A- or a GPA of 3.7.

Candidates are also required to hold at least an Upper Second-Class Honours degree or an equivalent GPA of 3.0.

The company noted that possession of professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CPS, CIM, CISA or CIPS will be an added advantage during the selection process.

Graduates with master’s degrees will also be considered, provided they meet the minimum KCSE and bachelor’s degree requirements.
