The Public Service Commission (PSC) has advertised several job opportunities in universities, ministries and government departments.

In a notice issued on Tuesday, the commission announced vacancies for Deputy Vice Chancellor, Administration and Finance, and Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic and Student Affairs at Kenyatta University.

The PSC also advertised the position of Principal at Makueni University and re-advertised the position of Vice Chancellor at Bomet University.

At the Cabinet Affairs department, the commission is recruiting for the positions of Secretary, Cabinet Affairs/Special Programmes; Director, Cabinet Affairs/Special Programmes; Deputy Director, Cabinet Affairs/Special Programmes; and Programme Officer.

The commission has also advertised the position of Assistant Director, Probation at Correctional Services and Commissioner for Co-operative Development at the State Department for Co-operatives.

Other positions include Shipping and Maritime Affairs Officer and Director in the Shipping and Maritime Affairs department.

At the Environment and Climate Change department, PSC is recruiting Deputy Director, Multilateral Agreements; Deputy Director, Climate Change (Information and Knowledge); and Assistant Director, Climate Change (Mitigation) and Greenhouse Gas Inventories.

The Forestry department has vacancies for Secretary, Forest Regulation; Director, Forest Management and Conservation; and Director, Forestry Policy and Strategic Initiatives.

In the Human Capital Development department, the commission has advertised positions for Secretary, Psychological Counselling and Wellness Services and Assistant Director, Human Resource Management and Development.

The Mining department has vacancies for Deputy Director/Senior Principal Superintending Geologist, Metallurgist, Social Development Officer, Laboratory Technologist, Gemstone Cutter/Facetor and Gemologist.

The Petroleum department has advertised several positions, including Petroleum Officer, Petroleum Environment Analyst, Petroleum Economic Analyst, Petroleum Audit and Risk Analyst, Petroleum Social Development Analyst and Petroleum Technologist.

At the Office of the Attorney General, PSC is recruiting for Senior Deputy Solicitor General, Deputy Solicitor General, Chief State Counsel, Deputy Chief State Counsel and Principal State Counsel.
