Abigael Gikonyo, popularly known as Abby Zuena, is a Kenyan political activist who also works in real estate and investment advisory.
Gikonyo has attracted public attention through her association with Linda Mwananchi and her vocal support for Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna.
Her career, however, extends beyond politics, with a professional background in finance, customer relations, real estate, marketing, and policy consultancy.
Abigael Gikonyo’s Career and Education
Gikonyo holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), where the studied between 2011 and 2015.
Gikonyo’s professional journey began in the private sector, with her early career combining finance, accounts, marketing and public relations.
Between March 2013 and March 2015, she worked at Pembroke House School, where she supported the accounts office and the school’s marketing and public relations team, including concepts such as the Big Hill Holiday Camps.
She later worked as a Policy Consultant for the County Government of Nakuru from May 2015 to July 2017. In that role, she consulted for then Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua on policies targeting young people.
Gikonyo then moved into the real estate when she joined Finsco Africa in August 2019. She served as Director of Customer Service until May 2025, overseeing customer-service policy, customer databases, communications, retention strategies, and client experience.
From Real Estate Executive to Center Piece Africa CEO
Currently, she is the CEO of Center Piece Africa, a Nairobi-based real estate company. The company is a real estate brokerage and lifestyle business, offering property investment advisory, diaspora investment support, interior architectural services, post-sale support, and project-management consultancy.
Through her real estate involvement, Gikonyo has participated in several investment forums in the country.
During the 2024 UK-Kenya Trade Mission, Gikonyo highlighted housing demand, land availability, and the investment environment as factors shaping Kenya’s real estate.
She also raised concerns about lengthy approvals and bureaucratic challenges affecting developers.

Gikonyo’s political profile has grown rapidly in 2026 through her involvement with Linda Mwananchi.
Abigael began her political activism early in 2026 and was a prominent member of the movement during its political activities in Nakuru.
On her social media, including Facebook and LinkedIn, she has published analyses and commentary defending Sifuna and discussing the possibility of a Sifuna presidency, while also describing her decision to return to the political space and take a more active role.
Following the August 16, Linda Mwananchi rally in Homa Bay, which was disrupted by violence, Gikonyo recounted seeking refuge with others in a church as they waited for assistance.
She said young men recognized her as a supporter of the late Raila Odinga and allowed her group to move to safety.
Earlier, during a Linda Mwananchi tour in Trans Nzoia in July, Gikonyo also confirmed that a vehicle belonging to one of the movement’s aspirants had rolled over, injuring several people. She urged supporters and drivers traveling to political events to prioritize safety.
