Government allocates KSh4B for NYS expansion

The Government has allocated 6.4 billion shillings towards the expansion of the National Youth Service (NYS). Public Service Cabinet Secretary Geoffrey Ruku says the project will see the institution's infrastructure and training expanded in line with President William Ruto's directive that NYS onboards 100,000 recruits by 2028. He spoke during the passing-out parade of 15,000 recruits from the paramilitary academy in Gilgil, Nakuru County.
