Motsepe confident Kenya will complete AFCON 2027 preparations on time

Confederation of African Football president Patrice Motsepe has expressed satisfaction with Kenya’s preparations ahead of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations. RUN VCR… Speaking after inspecting the Kasarani and Raila Odinga stadiums in Nairobi, Motsepe said he was confident that the remaining works at the two venues would be completed by December. He pledged to return to Kenya in January to assess progress and ensure everything remains on track ahead of the tournament, which will be co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda in June and July 2027. On the hosting of the opening match and the final, Motsepe said discussions are still ongoing.
