Kindiki launches Sh7.5 billion River Nithi bridge project

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has announced the start of construction of a new 7.5 billion shilling bridge across River Nithi in Tharaka Nithi County, in a bid to curb decades of fatal accidents along the Nairobi-Embu-Meru Highway. During the launch, Kindiki also defended President William Ruto’s development projects in the region and condemned the violence directed at former Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza during Mashujaa Day celebrations.
