Four activists released on bail over Nairobi road obstruction charges

Four activists arraigned at the Nairobi Law Courts have been released on a cash bail of KSh5,000 each or a bond of KSh20,000 each. The four denied charges of obstructing vehicles along Mama Ngina Street on September 21. The activists had challenged the validity of the charge sheet, in which the prosecution alleged that they barricaded the road with burners, in contravention of Section 58(c) of the Road Act.
