He is a visiting scientist at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and an honorary associate professor at the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Cape Town.
He was also appointed to serve on the board of Global Health by the US National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.
