Who needs a football shirt when a pair of Calvin Klein briefs will do? Jude Bellingham is giving fashion enthusiasts something new to look at after trading the football pitch for the bedroom-inspired aesthetics of Calvin Klein’s latest underwear campaign.
The England international and Real Madrid midfielder is the face of the American fashion house’s new Icon Cotton Stretch underwear collection, appearing in a series of steamy, minimalist photographs captured by photographer Oliver Hadlee Pearch.
And, unsurprisingly, the campaign leaves little to the imagination. Bellingham models several pieces from the collection, including the Icon Cotton Stretch Shine Trunk, Boxer Brief, Low Rise Trunk, Hip Brief and Slim Boxer. The Shine Trunk features the brand’s signature Infinity Bond logo with a glossy finish, adding a little extra polish to the otherwise understated essentials.

Beyond the eye-catching visuals, Calvin Klein is banking on Bellingham’s global sporting appeal to bring its signature underwear aesthetic to another generation of consumers. Speaking about the campaign, the footballer said he enjoyed the concept of ‘the icon underneath’, adding that confidence begins with feeling comfortable in one’s own skin.
For Calvin Klein, the pairing is hardly a departure from its long-standing tradition of putting high-profile personalities in front of the camera to sell its underwear. The brand has consistently turned celebrity appeal, minimalist styling and provocative imagery into a recognisable fashion-marketing formula.
Bellingham, meanwhile, appears quite comfortable in his new territory. Whether on the pitch or in his Calvin Klein briefs, the 23-year-old certainly knows how to command attention. The Icon Cotton Stretch collection is available through Calvin Klein’s official website and selected retailers.
