The incident comes amid a series of fire emergencies reported across Nairobi, including a fire at Ali Glaziers building along Third Street in Eastleigh North on August 7 and fire at Moke Sonko’s office in Upperhill.

Kenya Red Cross Issues Update on Fire Incident
Efforts to contain the fire at Mombasa Maize Millers in Majengo, Mombasa County, are still ongoing, with a multi-agency team deployed to the scene.
Several emergency and county agencies are working together to control the blaze and support the firefighting operation.
The Mombasa Fire Department, Kenya Red Cross, Kenya Ports Authority (KPA), and County Government health ambulances are currently on the ground responding to the incident.
Additional support is also being provided by Mombasa Cement and the Jeffrey Foundation, which are continuously supplying water to fire trucks involved in the operation.
