The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) has announced 678 jobs across its headquarters and campuses, including teaching, medical, administrative, ICT, human resource, and support positions.
In an announcement on October 6, the vacancies include 200 Lecturer II (Nursing) positions, 105 Lecturer II (Clinical Medicine) positions, and 20 each for Lecturer II (Orthopedic and Trauma Medicine), Community Health, Health Records and Information Technology, Radiography and Imaging, and Assistant Office Administrator III.
“The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) is a State Corporation established by an Act of Parliament and falls under the Ministry of Health. Founded in 1927, the College is entrusted with the role of training various disciplines in the health sector, conducting research and consultancy.
Therefore, the KMTC Board of Directors seeks to recruit competent, result-oriented, knowledgeable, dynamic, visionary and experienced persons to fill the following vacant positions tenable at the Kenya Medical Training College, Headquarters and its Campuses,” read part of the announcement.

KMTC is also seeking five Senior Lecturers (Dentists), five Lecturer II positions in Emergency Medical Technology, five in Medical Laboratory Sciences, five in Public Health Sciences and five in Optometry.
Other teaching positions include 15 vacancies each for Lecturer II (Occupational Therapy), Lecturer II (Nutrition) and Lecturer II (Physiotherapy), as well as 10 positions for Lecturer II (Community Oral Health) and 12 for Lecturer II (Medical Engineering).

Application Requirements
Successful candidates will be required to provide clearance certificates from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), Credit Reference Bureau (CRB), and a valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) before receiving their offer letters.
Applicants who meet the qualifications and experience requirements have been invited to apply online through the KMTC recruitment portal. The college will not accept hard-copy applications.
Applicants are required to provide all information requested in the advertisement and have been warned that providing false information is an offence. They should also not include details of academic or professional certificates that will not have been obtained by the application deadline.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to present the originals of their National Identity Cards, academic and professional certificates, and transcripts during interviews.
KMTC has also warned that presenting fake certificates or documents is a criminal offence, while canvassing will result in automatic disqualification.
